- I hold the right to refuse the commission for whatever reason, with or without explanation.- Please have a clear reference alongside a clear color palette, additional references and/or art of the character(s) are also very helpful! If there’s a certain pose/expression you want me to draw them in, let me know. Character profiles (ex. Toyhouse, CharacterHub) are also very helpful!- I prefer visual references (ex. models, photobashing, poses…) over long descriptions, it helps me visualize better and makes my job easier!
2. PAYMENT AND REFUNDS
- Payment is preferred in full upfront. All payments are in USD via PayPal only.
- Personal and payment information will remain confidential and used solely for transaction purposes.- There are no refunds once I start working on your commission. I am not responsible for your spending habits. If you think there is a possibility you might need the money for any reason, please do not commission me!
- Refunds will NOT be given if you are unsatisfied with the final result of the commission. I am willing to discuss and make minor edits up to two times. Any major edits (ex. reposing, changing hairstyles or outfits) will be rejected.
The only major edits I WILL do are details that I may have missed that were specified previously.
- Any chargebacks against me due to irresponsible buying, will automatically result in a permanent blacklist.
3. REVISIONS
- You may ask for progress shots any time. If there is something you are unsatisfied with or you want me to change, be sure to let me know.
- During the sketch phase, you are allowed to request as many edits as you’d like.
- During the lineart/coloring phase, you are allowed to request 3 edits/changes maximum! Any more changes will have an additional charge depending on complexity.
- As for the final result, the only major edits I am willing to do are details that I may have missed that were specified previously and/or shown on the character’s reference sheet. (ex. tattoos, accessories, any details that are essential to the character’s design).
4. IMAGE RIGHTS
I hold every right to the produced artwork, so I am allowed to do whatever I wish with it, for example:
- Display the artwork in my personal portfolio or social media (Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram). While giving proper credit to the owner of the characters, unless specified beforehand to keep the commission private.You, as the client:
- May display commissioned artwork on external sites only if linked back to me, preferably my Carrd or Twitter (@SEYKNN). If you want to display my work on ToyHouse, please credit my ToyHouse username (seyknn).
- May crop, resize, or lightly edit the artwork for personal display, but you must always credit me.
- May print or reproduce the artwork for personal use only (ex. posters), but not for commercial purposes.
- May request that a commission not be posted publicly.- May NOT take credit for the art nor remove my watermarks/signatures.
- You are NOT allowed to use my artwork for commercial purposes (ex. merchandise, flyers). My work is for personal or private use only.- The usage of Al on my artwork is strictly prohibited, my artwork may not be used in AI derivative works, NFTs, or cryptocurrency-related media.
The usage of AI refers to, but is not limited to:
- Altering my work in any shape way or form using Al (including videos, animations, and more).
- Feeding the work to AI to replicate my style with it.
- Encouraging or supporting someone else doing any of the above.
Any violation of these TOS will result in a permanent blacklist.
5. COMMISSION PROCESS
- You must fill out THIS FORM to order a commission. An email and/or social media (Tumblr, Twitter, Discord) are required for me to get in contact with you. All your information will remain private and will not be shared with anyone.- I will contact you within 48 hours after you’ve submitted the form, confirming if I’ve accepted or rejected the commission request. Upon acceptance, the final details, price and payment of the commission will be discussed between us. I will send a request to your email for you to make the payment and then I will begin working on the commission after receiving it.- I will provide progress shots for each stage of the commission process.
During the sketch phase, you will receive a rough sketch (resized and watermarked) of the commission. Any and all major edits/revisions must be done at this stage of the process, upon approval, I will move on to the next stage, provide progress shots, wait for approval, and repeat for the following stages.Upon completing the commission, you will receive the commission files via email. Only minor changes (ex. brightness, color adjustments...) can be requested at this point. Any major revisions (ex. reposing, etc.) will be rejected. Refer to my Revisions TOS- Your commission may take up to 2-3 days to 1-2 weeks to be completed! Sometimes more based on communication and timezones, I will let you know if it will be delayed due to personal reasons.- If given permission, I will post a resized and watermarked version of the commission on social media, and display it on my personal portfolio. You are allowed to request for me to keep the commission private.
